This castle was made famous by a poem by Byron called "The prisoner of Chillon." It's the only castle in Montreux and is one of the top attractions in Switzerland. It was built in the 12th Century.

My mom has been busy writing her journal. Brace yourself --- it's really, really long, but she leave NOTHING out. There's even a story in there about out wet laundry!
